Construction is now underway with the Centre expected to be completed by 2026.
With a projected construction cost of up to $627.61 million the Centre will include therapeutic design elements aimed at supporting the rehabilitation of young people.

The construction contractor has been awarded Stage 1 for the new 80-bed centre which will comprise two 40-bed campuses with a single shared perimeter as well as a selection of shared facilities.
Syncwise has been awarded Stage 1 and will be developing and implementing a complete KNX lighting control solution for the blocks, staff accommodation, entrance building and hospital facility.
This will include a ThinKnx rack server to provide centralised control of the lighting system along with vandal resistant motion dectors.
