Located at Purga west of Brisbane is the new state of the art Greater Brisbane Greyhound Centre.
The world-class venue features three tracks – a straight track, a two-turn track and a one-turn track.
Importantly, the new home of Queensland greyhound racing will see the Brisbane and Ipswich Greyhound Racing Clubs co-locate at the venue now the $39 million project has been completed.
Syncwise were responsible for the design and and programming of the KNX lighting control system for the entire grandstand including the race track.
This includes motion sensors that use a special optical system providing the capability of detecting the smallest of movement.
The KNX lighting system is controlled by a centralised Thinknx micro server.
Syncwise customised an app allowing the end user to control and monitor all of the KNX lighting system across the entire Grandstand building including all the lights on the tracks.
